Verdict: Pretty much exactly what you'd expect from a Sonic film aimed at a young demographic. It's a harmless, generic, over-the-top buddy cop comedy that does use many clichés in the book, recycled jokes, and modern pop culture reference, but never to the point where it becomes annoying. CGI was decent, and it was fun seeing Jim Carrey in a role similar to the ones that made a name out of him. Not good, not bad, not memorable, but there are much worse ways to spend 100 minutes.
FINAL GRADE: 4/10
