Verdict: Hervé Villechaize. That name may be unfamiliar to you unless you grew up in the 1970s or 1980s, a time which saw the French actor who suffered from a rare form of dwarfism star alongside Roger Moore's James Bond in "The Man with the Golden Gun" as well as being the face of the hit TV show "Fantasy Island".
"My Dinner with Hervé" serves as a look at the eccentric actor's life told through flashbacks during an interview with the fictional Danny Tate, a recovering alcoholic dealing with problems of his own. And I loved it.
Starting with his childhood and his parent's struggle to deal with his condition and leading to his own conflicts and rise to fame and success, the film captures the different stages of Hervé's fascinating life beautifully, mixing humor and emotion in a rather effective way that was elevated by the incredible performances by Jamie Dornan and especially Peter Dinklage, who both give their best performances of their careers in film.
Despite a few cheesy moments and questionable song choices, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this biopic, which will certainly never make me forget Hervé Villechaize's name, and can't recommend it enough to anyone interested in watching a biopic about the fascinating life of an outcast who defied all odds to achieve his goals.

FINAL GRADE: 8/10
