Verdict: Even though the movie can be a bit slow at times, it still paints a beautiful portrait of a post-war Rome. Another thing it successfully explores is human nature and how it can be affected by the smallest of things. If you're into grounded movies that explore themes we deal with on a daily basis, then "Bicycle Thieves" is a must.
